In the spirit of Valentine’s Day the Heart Truth Red Gown Collection was shown yesterday for the opening of New York Fashion Week. It is so nice to see so many celebrities walking down the red carpet for such a great cause. The show is put on by the Heart, Lung and Blood Institute in order to create awareness for women’s heart health. Some of the dresses will be auctioned at clothesoffourback.org with proceeds going to support the awareness of women’s heart health.
Some of my favourites dresses of the night are the stunning John Galliano dress worn by Heidi Klum, the one shoulder Michael Kors dress worn by Mamie Gummer, the strapless gown by Badgley Mischka which was modeled by former American Idol winner Jordan Sparks, and the grecian inspired gown Kim Kardashians wore designed by Marchesa.
